Registration has closed for this class because it is full. For questions on writing, visit the Writing Center. For research questions, come to the library.

Do you have to write a research paper this semester?  If so, you won’t want to miss Research Papers Explained, an hour long class co-taught by doctoral candidate in Technical Communications Halcyon Lawrence and librarian Jannelle Ruswick. This class will help demystify the research paper writing process.

Halcyon and Jannelle will show you every step in the research paper process, including how to…

  • define your topic
  • craft a strong thesis statement
  • find the types of sources your professors require
  • organize your paper

All students at all experience levels will learn something new in this class.  Research Papers Explained will be held Friday, November 5th on Galvin Library’s lower level in the Library Learning Center from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.
