Are you a new student at IIT?  Learn how to use the library with our Librarian Yi Han.  She will tell you everything you need to know that can get you started including:

  • how to search and find books in our library
  • how to use interlibrary loan and borrow from other libraries
  • how to reserve a study room
  • where to find articles

The library orientation will be offered two times, Tuesday August 28th and Wednesday August 29th from 12:50 pm to 1:20 pm.  Meet in the Library Learning Center, which is located in Galvin Library on the lower level, just past the circulation desk.  Library Map  Let us know you are coming by registering at http://tiny.cc/74kgjw  Registering is useful for our preparation, but is not required.

Galvin Library offers classes throughout the year on using library resources.  See our blog post on how to add the Galvin Library calendar of classes and events to your list of Google calendars.  Remember you can always get help, any time with any question, by contacting us through email, phone, IM or just stop by the Research Help Office, located on the upper level at the top of the main stairwell.
