Galvin Library has traditionally been open for Finals Week, providing access on both levels to textbooks on reserve, the OTS Night Owl Lab, computers, printers, scanners and more, but this semester to meet student demand, we added Study Week, a second week of 24-hour access on both levels of the library, that started on Sunday, November 25. The library will remain open continuously on both levels until Friday, December 7th when we close at 5:00 pm.

So you can study in groups or as an individual, find a quiet spot or take over an area with study partners, sit in a bean bag or at a table, bring your laptop or iPad, or use one of ours, but however you choose to study and prepare for finals, you can do it 24 hours a day and on the upper or lower level of the library.

Check the library’s hours, reserve a group study room, or see if your textbook on reserve is being used. Remember that public safety offers escorts to the dorms, the parking lots and the train platforms at any time; you can ask for assistance at the library’s circulation desk.
