heart of the book's pagesApril 13-19 is National Library Week and this year’s theme is Lives Change @ Your Library. Libraries are integral to their communities and the Paul V. Galvin Library is YOUR library. Galvin Library has expert and helpful staff, online books and articles NOT found on Google, and 24 hour spaces, both collaborative and quiet, making Galvin Library an integral part of YOUR university experience. Celebrate National Library Week with us in various ways.

Our student Research Specialists will be on the MTCC bridge from 12:40-1:50 Tuesday and Wednesday with prizes, testing your knowledge or seeking your opinion.

  • WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16  – Show Us What You Know (Galvin Library trivia game)
  • THURSDAY, APRIL 17 – Your Opinion Matters: Tell Us about YOUR library

Tuesday is National Library Workers Day so if you’re in the library, let library staff know how much you appreciate what they do!

All week inside the library we’ll be inviting you to our “graffiti wall” to Share Your Favorite Things @ Galvin Library, or share them on our Facebook page, and we’ll be passing out Lifesavers, because two weeks before IPRO and 3 weeks before Finals, librarians at Galvin Library might be just the “Lifesaver” you need to find statistics, quotes, peer reviewed articles and surveys that bolster your research and impress your professors. Stop by the Research Help Office on the upper level or contact us by IM, email or phone.
